Affiliate disclosure

Last updated: 2026-09-25

Plain English

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click and buy, we may earn a commission. You do not pay more because of that. We are not the shop, and we are not “official partners” of model labs or GPU brands.

1. Full statement

privatellm.au participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program (including Amazon.com.au Associates) and may participate in other affiliate or partner programs from time to time. That means we may earn fees or commissions when you click certain links and complete a purchase or qualifying action, at no additional cost to you. Commission potential does not determine which educational topics we cover. Product blocks describe hardware *classes* and shopping searches — they are not independent lab tests, not “best product” awards, and not personalised purchasing advice. Always compare live prices, warranty, and seller reputation yourself. Affiliate relationships are commercial relationships under Australian Consumer Law expectations of clear disclosure; see the Affiliate disclosure page.

Independent educational resource. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta, Alibaba, Mistral, Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, NVIDIA, Apple, Ollama, LM Studio, Amazon (except as an Associates publisher), or any other model, tool, or hardware maker unless explicitly stated for a specific affiliate program. privatellm.app (and similarly named products) are unrelated.

2. Programs active or relevant to this site

Amazon Associates (Australia)

We participate in the Amazon.com.au Associates Programme. Amazon AU product/search links may include our tracking tag rero07-22. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

Amazon Associates (United States)

We also hold a US Associates identity (tag thepinpar-20). This site prioritises Australian shopping links. US links are only used if explicitly marked.

Other portfolio programs (usually not used here)

The publisher also participates in other networks for other sites (examples: GetYourGuide, Booking.com via CJ, Lovable Labs via Impact.com). Those programs are not the monetisation focus of privatellm.au, which is educational hardware/software guidance for private LLMs. We will not force unrelated travel or builder CTAs onto this content.

Display ads

Display advertising (for example Google AdSense) may appear on this site only if and when the site is approved and ads are enabled. Until then, ad slots may be empty. Ad networks use their own cookies and tracking under their policies.

3. Retailer link status (honest labels)

Retailer Status on this site Note
Amazon Australia Associates (tagged) Primary Associates AU program (live tag). GPUs, RAM, NVMe, mini-PCs, UPS, cooling — stock varies.
Mwave Affiliate pending Strong AU components. Affiliate application pending approval (2026-08). Until tagged: deep-link only.
Scorptec Network (when enrolled) Strong GPU / component stock. Affiliate historically via FlexOffers (~4%) — apply via network.
PLE Computers Network (when enrolled) WA-based stock comparison. Affiliate historically via FlexOffers — verify active before counting on payouts.
Centre Com Deep-link only Retail + online street pricing. No clear public affiliate program — deep-link for comparison only.
Umart Deep-link only QLD-strong shopping. No clear public affiliate program — deep-link for comparison only.

4. What our “product” blocks are (and are not)

5. Australian Consumer Law & advertising transparency

We aim for clear commercial disclosure consistent with the Australian Consumer Law and ACCC expectations for affiliate and influencer-style advertising: if a link can earn us money, that relationship should be obvious. If something is unclear, email us via Contact.

Nothing on this site excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law (for example, resupply of services or payment of the cost of resupply, where that limitation is allowed).

6. Editorial independence

Topics are chosen for visitor usefulness (decision trees, honest exit ramps, Australian realism). Affiliate potential does not guarantee a product class appears; absence of a program does not ban a useful retailer from comparison lists.

7. Next programs we may join for this site

In priority order for private-LLM hardware relevance:

  1. Mwave — Application pending approval. Highest-priority AU PC partner for this site after Amazon AU.
  2. Scorptec (FlexOffers or current network) — Strong GPU stock; network affiliate historically ~4% — confirm active listing when you join FlexOffers.
  3. PLE Computers (same network pass) — Useful WA stock mirror; low % but free if you are already on FlexOffers for Scorptec.
